Apple Lasagna
Breakfast Casserole

 

Serves 6

INGREDIENTS

- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 12 slices French toast
- 1/2 pound sliced boiled ham
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can apple pie filling
- 1 cup granola cereal with raisins

PREPARATION

In a small bowl, blend sour cream and brown sugar, then chill for an hour.

Place 6 French toast slices in the bottom of a greased
13x9 inch baking pan.

Layer ham, 1 1/2 cups cheese and remaining 6 slices of French toast. Spread apple pie filling on top and sprinkle with granola.

Preheat oven to 350° F. Bake for 25 minutes, then top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese has melted.

Serve with sour cream mixture.
