All-purpose
barbecue rub
| This
all-purpose barbecue rub will work for almost
any type of barbecue, and is especially great
on barbecued beef. Experiment with it as much
as you like: If you prefer it hot, use more
mustard or cayenne pepper. If you prefer it
mild (or milder), adjust accordingly. |

cup sweet paprika |

tablespoons black pepper
|

tablespoons kosher salt
|

tablespoon celery salt |
|

tablespoon celery seed |
|
1
tablespoon ground mustard |

2
garlic cloves, minced |
|
1
tablespoon onion powder |
|
1
teaspoon cayenne pepper
|

| PREPARATION: |

Mix
all of the ingredients well.

Store
the barbecue rub in an airtight
food saver container
such as a canning jar or
a ziplock storage bag until
required. |
