large cucumbers, thinly
sliced (no need to peel)

cup white vinegar
3/4
cup water
3/4
cup sugar
1
teaspoon salt
1
cup fresh dill leaves
Salt
and black pepper to taste
Preparation:
Put
the water in a saucepan
and bring to boil over medium
heat. Add the rest of the
ingredients except the cucumber
and dill. Heat and stir
until the sugar dissolves.
Place
the cucumber and dill in
a suitable bowl, and pour
in the mixture. Pour mixture
over cucumbers and dill.
