Curried BBQ Lamb Chops

6 lamb chops
1/2 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoon sugar
2 crushed cloves of garlic
1 finely chopped onion
2 teaspoons Madras curry powder (add more if you like it stronger)
1 teaspoon salt and black pepper, or to taste
Combine all ingredients in a pot.
Place on medium heat, and bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Allow to cool, then put in the chops and marinate for about 6 hours or overnight.
Grill for 5 – 7 each side.
