Dry Rub BBQ Ribs

by Kathy

Dry Rub BBQ Ribs

Dry Rub BBQ Ribs

Dry Rub BBQ Ribs

¼ cup brown sugar
3 teaspoons instant beef boullion granules
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
3 tablespoons sweet Hungarian paprika
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons salt

Combine everything in a bowl and mix well. Makes enough for one rack of ribs. Easily doubled for more.

Dry ribs with paper towels and remove any excess fat. Place in baking pan and sprinkle rub evenly all over, rubbing in well. Cover & refrigerate 4 hours (overnight is better). BBQ with your preferred method. Finishing with your favorite BBQ sauce during last 15 minutes of cooking is optional with this full flavored rub

NOTES:

If roasting ribs indoors substitute smoked Spanish paprika for the sweet paprika and increase to 4 tablespoons.

For spicier ribs we moisten ribs with Asian sriracha hot pepper sauce or chile garlic paste before applying rub
