This zesty cole slaw recipe is a family favorite. I like it because it is so quick and easy to make. Everyone loves it because it's so light and tasty. So why not give this nice, creamy coleslaw recipe a try?
Try this great creamy coleslaw recipe
Makes 6-8 servings
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
- 1 carrot, shredded (optional)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- Salt and pepper, to taste
PREPARATION:
- Combine mayonnaise and cream with the cabbage and carrot. We're aiming for a nice, creamy coleslawIt should be creamy, not soggy, so adjust quantity of mayonnaise and cream accordingly, as required.
- Add seasonings, mix, taste and adjust
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
