Grilled Onion, Flank Steak & Horseradish Cheddar Cheese Sandwiches
Dana says:
One day when I was at the grocery store, the deli section was giving away samples of Horseradish Cheddar Cheese. Right then and there I bought steaks, onions and grinder roll to make this sandwich.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup corn oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 cloves crushed garlic
3 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
1 teaspoon all purpose seasoning for steak
1-1/2 lbs flank steak
2 tablespoons salted butter
2 large white onions, sliced thick and rubbed with olive oil
4 long grinder rolls, split
8 slices horseradish cheddar cheese
Method:
In a bowl, whisk together corn oil, vinager, garlic, parsley and seasoning. Place steak in a plastic bag and add marinade. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Heat grill to medium and grill steak for 6 minutes per side. Slice steak against the grain. Grill onion slices for 1 minute per side. Spread butter on rolls and grill for 30 seconds. Place steak slices onto grilled rolls topped with onions and cheese. Wrap sandwiches in tin foil and place back on grill to melt cheese. This recipe makes 4 sandwiches.
