Hobo Stew





Ingredients:


1 lb potatoes quartered
2 rib celery 1 in pieces
1 lb onion coarse chop
1/4 head cabbage coarse chop
1 lb smoke sausage 1 in pieces
4 lge carrots 1 in pieces
1 clove garlic finely chop
1 tbl pepper
1 tbl salt
water just cover

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients into large stock pot or a dutch oven
Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to simmer.
Cook covered, stirring every 20 min for 4 hours.

Serves 5 very hungry Boy Scouts and their leaders.
