Can I tempt you with this easy
New York strip steak recipe?

Having friends over for a steak barbecue? In something of a quandary looking for a great barbecue steak recipe? I know how you feel - it used to happen to me all the time. I mean, anyone can plunk a steak on the grill, right? It takes real skill (or a good recipe, at least) to get the best out of these expensive cuts.
New York strip steak
Well, here's some food for thought - why not give this great steak recipe a try? You won't go wrong!
Strip steak
Strip steak is the boneless top loin strip steak, the top section of a Porterhouse. Widely considered one of the finest cuts of beef, it is cut from the strip loin, and as this is a seldom-used muscle, the strip steak is particularly tender. The strip steak is known by various names, such as striploin, Kansas City strip steak and New York strip steak. It is delicious broiled, sautéed, or as in our recipe below (and my personal favorite) - grilled.

Now let's get back to basics: How to cook strip steak. First, I recommend serving your strip steak with a wallop of your best barbecue sauce. My recommendation and personal favorite: This zesty recipe for BBQ sauce.

Just follow the easy 'how to' instructions below, and you're guaranteed a great result. (We have a printer-friendly version of this recipe for you - no additional text or adds. Just click on the Printer Friendly link at the top of the recipe).
