Peach glazed chicken wings with a slice of grilled peach
PEACH GLAZED CHICKEN WINGS
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/3 cup peach preserves
2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
2 cups firm peaches, peeled
1/2 cup sweet onion, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, peeled and minced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon jalapeno, minced
2 cups chicken stock
5 fresh jumbo peaches
50 chicken wings
DIRECTIONS:
1. Cut peaches into small dices and put in medium saucepan with chicken stock, bring to a boil and let simmer till soft.
2. Pour peaches and rest of chicken stock into food processor. Blend on high speed
3. Add rest of ingredients; blend well
4. Set sauce aside; grill chicken wings till no longer pink
5. Take wings off grill and toss in sauce
6. Enjoy
