Punched Stuffed Burgers

2 lbs ground beef
1 jalapeno chopped
1 garlic clove chopped
1 tbsp worstershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 cup saltines (I have used cheese crackers also)
1 packet of dry ranch mix
1 medium egg
1 pacakge of cream cheese
1 8 oz package of cheddar cheese
1 8 oz can of mushrooms
Mix ground beef, onion, jalapeno, garlic, worstershire sauce, salt, pepper, saltines, ranch packet and egg in mixing bowl until well blended.
Make a 3 inch round patty, place on plate, put a few mushrooms, a dallop of cream cheese and a big pinch of cheddar cheese on top. Add another 3 inch patty on top, round edges off so stuffing doesn't fall out. This recipe makes about 5-6 burgers.
Place on grill for about 15-20 minutes on each side or until cooked to preference. Do not flip too many times or squeeze them. They are very juicy and flavorful if left untouched.
You can place on bun or bread of choice and garnish with lettuce and tomato. My family loves it so much that they don't even use condiments.
