Rib Eye Steaks with Bleu Cheese Butter

by Nancy W. Bower
(Acra, NY, USA)

Serves 4

Although VERY simple, this is a great addition to any grilled beef recipe.

Ingredients:

4 rib eye steaks-- size based on how hungry you are!
Salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste

Bleu cheese butter:
4 tablespoons room temp bleu cheese
6 tablespoons room temp salted butter

Preparation:

Heat up your grill. While heating, mix the bleu cheese and butter together and put in refrigerator. Cook the rib eyes to your taste- rare, medium, or heaven forbid well done.

When your steaks are cooked, let rest for 5 to 10 minutes. When ready to serve, put a large dollop of the bleu cheese/butter mixture on top of each steak. Serve with a loaf of crusty French bread, green salad and an appetite!

If you're really ambitious, caramelize a lot of onions and serve with the steak.
